Part A - Price Proposal will be received. Part B - Subcontractor Listing and Qualification Statement must be received at which time both Part A and Part B will be opened. Each bid shall be accompanied by bid proposal security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond made payable to the order of King County Hospital District No. 2 for a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by such bid proposal security. The bid is for performing all Work, including furnishing and installing equipment in accordance with the bid documents, plans and specifications. This is a public works project, and therefore must comply with prevailing wage requirements. The work includes but is not limited to: minimal, selective interior alterations of two Evergreen Health clinics, including demolition of non load bearing partitions, repair/ replacements of architectural finishes, and Targeted MEP work. Project is phased in order to support clinic operations during construction. Clinics are in two separate buildings. The estimated cost of construction is $365,000.00 (Three Hundred Sixty Five Thousand Dollars). Bids shall be publicly opened and read, and the Owner shall proceed to canvass the bids and may award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on plans and specifications on file. The Owner reserves the right to waive all informalities, or to reject any or all bids, and no contract shall be let in excess of the estimated cost of such project. No bidders may withdraw their bids after the hour set for the receipt thereof unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date and time for receipt of the bids.
