Site work for a civil project in Camdenton, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.

The proposed work includes a new 162'-0", three-span bridge, with prestressed concrete slabs, steel piling (HP 12x53), concrete abutments, concrete pile encasement walls, concrete bump curbs, traffic control, and all appurtenances. Special Needs: If you have special needs addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act, please notify the County Clerk at 573-346-4440 at least 5 working days prior to the bid opening you plan to attend. The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in the bid proposal. When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, this contract is subject to the "Work Hours Act of 1962" (P.L. 87-581; Stat. 357) and implementing regulations. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246 Camden County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. All bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2023 Edition including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder who provides the lowest price complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owner's budget. Our services included the drilling of two (2) borings at accessible locations, approximately 35 feet away from the existing low water crossing. Boring locations were designated by a CGTL geotechnical engineer and were staked in the field by the drill crew. Boring elevations were obtained using Google Earth which provides elevations in 1-foot intervals. Logs of the borings are attached to this letter. Laboratory tests were also performed and the test results are included on the boring logs. Boring locations are indicated on the boring location diagram also attached to this letter. The scope of our services does not include slope stability or any environmental assessment or investigation for the presence, or absence, of toxic materials in, on, or near the project site.
