The County intends to select a contractor to provide wet sealant application to the exterior window gaskets on the east, west and north side of the Judicial Center, located at 2002 Ringling Boulevard, Sarasota, Florida, 34236. The County anticipates a Purchase Agreement to run for the duration of the Project. Refer to the Solicitation Documents and Attachments section for minimum qualifications, scope/specifications, and insurance requirements. Question Submission Deadline:May 29, 2024, 2:30pm Any inquiries, suggestions or requests concerning interpretation, clarification or additional information pertaining to the solicitation shall be submitted electronically via OpenGov. SCOPE OF SERVICES A. Contractor shall thoroughly clean existing windows and gaskets before applying a wet sealant over the existing gaskets. Window information can be found in Attachment 1, Window Information, and Attachment 2, Judicial Center Photo attached hereto and incorporated herein. B. Contractor shall inspect the window weep holes during the process and clear any and all obstructions. C. Contractor shall have the necessary equipment to complete the work, e.g., boom lifts, swing staging, and/or the like. D. The Project will be completed on weekends and off business hours (after 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday). Contractor may request approval from the Administrative Agent for any work they wish to complete during business hours. Approval of the request will be at the sole discretion of the County. E. Work shall begin after receipt of a County Purchase Order (PO) and shall be completed no more than 60 calendar days after receipt of PO. F. The County reserves the right to modify this schedule at their discretion. Any modifications shall be communicated to the Contractor in writing. The estimated cost for the Wet Sealant Application for Exterior Window Gaskets at Judge Lynn N Silvertooth Judicial Center project is $275,000.00 and there are no Union Bids.
