Renovation of a residential development in Melbourne, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
White River Regional Housing Authority is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors licensed in the state of Arkansas for the removal and replacement of existing roof shingles, roofing underlayment, ridge vents, roof vents, drip edges, flashing, metal covered fascia, gutters, and other related work as specified in the bid documents The project is compiled of multiple buildings at (3) different properties. Each property will have its own bid form, yet the contract will be for all 3 properties combined. Project 1: Mountain View Housing, 311 Warren Street, Mountain View, Arkansas 72560 (office) consisting of (15) 3 BR homes and (1) Community building plus accessory buildings. Project 2: Ridgecrest Manor, 517 Gayler Street, Mountain View, Arkansas 72560, consisting of (4) apartment buildings plus accessory buildings. Project 3: Pioneer Village Apartments, 402 N. Knox Ave, Mountain View, Arkansas 72560, consisting of (14) apartment buildings and (1) Community building. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to White River Regional Housing Authority or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract to him. Questions regarding the bid documents should be by contractors only, directed in writing to Genesis Architecture 101, via email no later than Tuesday May 28, 12:00 PM. Bid questions by phone will not be accepted. Responses shall be issued in the form of written addenda only. The successful Bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. The written Bid Documents supersede any prior verbal or written communication between parties. WRRHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to make an award as deemed in its best interest. Locally owned businesses, minority-owned firms, and female owned firms are encouraged to submit.
