School District No. 64 (Gulf Islands) (SD64) is seeking a Construction Manager for the build of a New Spaces Daycare on Saturna Island. See the drawings posted to BC Bid along with this document for detail on the build. The facility will be attached to the existing school at 121 Sunset Blvd on Saturna. Saturna is a remote location, with a unique set of challenges, requiring a construction manager familiar with working in remote locations. The project will also include renovations to the existing school facility. The school is a wood-frame, single story building, constructed in 1951, with additions completed in 1961, 1980 and 1988. It consists of two classrooms and a small admin and common area. . Inquiries will not be accepted after May 20, 2024 at 3:00 PM
