The City of Georgetown is seeking bids from water and sewer licensed utility contractors to install sanitary sewer flow bypass pumping and piping, replace sanitary manhole, perform sewer line point repairs at the intersection on South Fraser and Front Streets. Questions regarding this Request for Bid should be submitted in writing and emailed to purchasing@georgetownsc.gov, no later than 2:00 PM EST (local time), Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Scope of Services The Contractor must perform the work in accordance with the City's bid documents, plans and technical specifications provided as part of this RFB. The scope of the work is identified in the construction plans and specifications prepared by Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc., and in general includes the following: 1. Set up and maintain traffic control. 2. Install sanitary sewer flow bypass pumping and piping. 3. Replace sanitary manhole at the intersection on S. Fraser and Front Streets. 4. Perform sewer line point repairs. 5. Asphalt pavement patching, as required.
