Emergency Repair of Water and Sanitary Sewer Mains and Services All Bids Must Be Submitted on the Form Provided With the Specifications and Submitted in a Sealed Envelope Marked Clearly on the Outside, "Bid to Provide Emergency Repair of Water and Sanitary Sewer Mains and Services", and Addressed to the Little Egg Harbor Municipal Utilities Authority, 823 Radio Road, P.o. Box 660, Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey 08087, and Shall Carry the Name and Address of the Bidder Also Marked Clearly on the Outside. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in an Amount of Not Less Than Ten (10) Percent of the Bid, Subject to the Provisions of N.j.s.a. 40a:11-21, as Guarantee That, in the Event the Contract is Awarded to the Bidder, Within Twenty-one (21) Days Thereafter, Such Contract Will Be Executed and Satisfactory Performance Bond Will Be Provided. Upon Failure to Do So, the Deposit Shall Be Forfeited as Liquidated Damages. No Interest Shall Be Allowed Upon Any Such Certified Check or Cashier's Check. Each Bid Must Also Be Accompanied by a Certificate From a Bonding Company Licensed to Do Business in the State of New Jersey, Guaranteeing That, if the Bid is Accepted, a Performance Bond Will Be Provided in the Face Amount of the Bid, Acceptance of the Bid is Contingent Upon the Fulfillment of These Requirements. the Authority Waives the Right to Waive Any Informalities or Irregularities in the Bids Received and to Reject Any and/or All Bids as in Its Judgment, May Best Serve the Interest of the Authority. The Authority Shall Award a Contract or Reject All Bids in Not More Than Sixty (60) Days From the Receipt of Bids. the Authority Reserves the Right to Require a Complete Financial and Experience Statement for Prospective Bidders Showing That They Have Satisfactorily Completed Work of the Nature Required Before Furnishing Bid Forms or Specifications, or Before Awarding the Contract. Bids for the Contract Will Be Accepted Only From Bidders Who Have Been Properly Qualified in Accordance With the Requirements of the Specifications. Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Requirements of N.j.s.a. 10:5-31 Et Seq. And N.j.a.c. 17:27 (P.l. 1975, C.127, Affirmative Action); P.l. 1963. C150 (New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act); and With P.l. 1977. C.33. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Perform emergency repair and installation of water and sanitary sewer mains and service connections.
