Renovation of a mixed-use development in Marietta, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and parking garage.

The Project will be constructed under one unified contract which is described as follows: The project includes full roof replacements at the following locations: Marietta Elementary School, 242 N Seventh Street, Marietta, OH (five smaller roofs) Marietta Schools IT Building, 242 N Seventh Street, Marietta, OH (entire roof) Bus Garage, 400 Mill Creek Road, Marietta, OH (all roofs) Marietta City Schools Administrative Offices, 111 Academy Drive, Marietta, OH (all roofs) Putnam Elementary School, 598 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, OH (full roofs at six locations) The project is primarily funded by an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) ESSER III (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund) grant. A copy of the ARPA Agreement is included with the contract documents and the bidder/contractor will be deemed committed to the terms of the ARPA Grant Agreement as a component part of the contract. Prevailing wage rates apply to this project as included in the Specifications.) All bids must include a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, as further described in the Specifications. Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the project sites and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents and Specifications. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation with respect to its Bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the bid opening. The School Board reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility. Immediately upon the discovery of the need for interpretation of the Contract Documents, Contractor shall prepare and submit a coordinated RFI on the specified RFI form. 1. All RFI's shall originate with the Contractor. RFIs submitted by entities other than the Contractor will be returned with no response. 2. All RFI's shall be coordinated by the Contractor, combining multiple Sub-Contractor questions relative to a single topic. 3. Coordinate and submit RFIs in a prompt manner so as to avoid delays in Work.
