Scope of work: This item specifies furnishing labor, materials, and accessories necessary for surface preparation and application of paints and protective finishes for the water plant facilities as required for the PROJECT as shown on the DRAWINGS and specified herein. The term paint used in this section means the protective coatings specified. Work also includes disinfection of tanks after coating. Location and Description of Work: The site is located in the City of Shenandoah The summary of the Work as described in this Section is an overall summary of responsibilities of the CONTRACTOR and his relation to the OWNER. It does not supersede specific requirements of other Contract Documents. The Work generally consists of the following: Construction of one 300,000 gallon steel multi-leg elevated water storage tank including painting, foundation, and connection to other lines as required.
