As of October 23, 2024, this project is in the design phase. The owner is still reviewing proposals and an engineer has not been selected. It is anticiapted an award will be made in December 2024. Construction is anticipated to start in fall 2025. The Clermont Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Design-Build (D-B) Services to implement a stream restoration and stabilization project. Services include ecological assessments, engineering, permitting, construction, oversight, coordination with the Criteria Engineer and other associated technical tasks. The project description and conceptual design are included as attachments. Interested DB teams should note that restoration options #1 and #2 (shown on pages 1 and 2 of the conceptual design) are under consideration. Funding for this project is provided through the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Water Resource Restoration Sponsor Program (WRRSP).
