Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Bethel, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The project includes construction of upgraded and new wastewater treatment facilities for the Village of Mt. Orab, Ohio. Major facilities include the upgrade and expansion of the existing wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) to a design average-day flow of 1.20 million gallons per day (MGD), maximum-month treatment capacity of 1.81 MGD and a peak flow of 2.75 MGD. The improvements at the WWTP include the following: Pre-treatment Building flow splitter box modifications; Equalization (EQ) Basin modifications and conversion to a Conventional Activated Sludge (CAS) secondary treatment basin including new blowers, aeration piping and fine-bubble diffusers; replacement of an oxidation ditch aerator; weir gate modifications within the oxidation ditches; modifications to the clarifier splitter chamber; a new 54-foot-diameter clarifier; modifications to the return activated sludge (RAS) pump stations; a new RAS splitter chamber; replacement of existing disinfection facilities with new expanded ultra-violet (UV) disinfection facilities; modified post-aeration facilities; effluent flow meter and vault; yard piping improvements; site grading including retaining wall, fencing and paving; two new emergency generators; electrical improvements; and instrumentation/process control equipment. The improvements also include a new concrete channel structure at the existing Main Pump Station (located separately from the WWTP) and re-installation of an Owner furnished mechanical bar screen. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent of the Bid. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of 120 days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
