Renovation of a library in Bethel, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
**As of February 18th, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work is to furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, machinery, warranties, and all other items required to replace the existing roof on the building of the Bethel Branch. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Clermont County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration. Bids must be submitted in duplicate: one original paper copy and one searchable PDF copy on a USB, both in a sealed envelope marked: BID - Bethel Branch Roof Recover. Bid security in the amount of 100% of the bid if in the form of a Bid Bond or not less than ten percent of the bid if in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit, must be submitted with the bid. Bid security furnished in bond form must be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Letters of credit and bid bonds must be filed with original signatures. Facsimile and electronic copies of the letter of credit, bid bond, and Power of Attorney of the Surety will be deemed non-responsive. The Clermont County Public Library Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all bids, and to hold such bids for a period of sixty days before taking any action and to award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder. The Architect's estimate for the base bid of this project is $485,000.00.
