Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Tupelo, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
This work consists of the replacement of an existing pipe culvert cross drain with precast concrete box culvert on Barnes Crossing Road. The work will include but is not limited to earthwork, storm drainage, base and pavement. Defined quantities to be bid are specified in the Contract Documents. A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an accepted Surety, a certified check, or bank draft payable to the City of Tupelo, Mississippi, on negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs. The City of Tupelo is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and hereby notifies all Bidders will be afforded the full opportunities to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual preference, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status in consideration for an award. Bids may be held up to 90 days from the date of opening for review of bids and qualifications of bidders prior to Contract award. The City of Tupelo, MS reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
