Bids are related to the construction of drainage improvements to include removal and replacement of existing drainage pipes/culverts, concrete inlets and related infrastructure located within and adjacent to Robins Field and crossing North Madison Street within the City of Tupelo. The work will include removal of asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, excavation, brick arch culvert, drainage pipes, concrete inlets, etc. in order to remove existing drainage infrastructure adjacent to and within the existing field/track, parking lot area, and across North Madison Street. The contractor will be required to replace the existing infrastructure, which includes the installation of approximately 642 LF 72" RCP drain pipe, 65 LF 6' x 6' reinforced concrete box culvert, 840 LF of 15" HDPE lateral drain pipe, concrete grate inlets, concrete junction boxes, sidewalks/walking track, etc. in order to provide improved collection, conveyance and capacity in the existing drainage system. The Project shall make provisions for all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to provide the improvements as defined in the Proposal document and as represented in the, Project Drawings, General Conditions of Work and Technical Specifications as set forth in the Contract Documents. All proposed improvements are/shall be located within existing property / rights-of-way owned and maintained by the City of Tupelo.
