Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This Project Shall Consist of Furnishing Labor, Equipment, Materials and Work Necessary in the Construction of the Following Items of Work: Est. Qty Item 5,140 Lf 6 Ft Wide Asphalt Pathway, 2,210 Lf 8 Ft Wide Asphalt Pathway With Geogrid, 215 Lf 6 Ft Wide Concrete Walk, Asphalt Basketball Half Court, Erosion Control, Tree Trimming and Removal, Excavation and Grading, Traffic Control and Restoration. Other Miscellaneous Work Includes Park Pier Ramp Section Removal and Reinstallation, Concrete Pedestrian Ramps and Storm Sewer. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor informality or irregularity in bids received. The Proposal Form Furnished by the City Shall Be Properly Executed by the Bidder. Bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check Payable to the City of Brookfield Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Largest Possible Total Bid or Bids, Including Consideration of Alternates. The Successful Bidder's Failure to Execute the Contract and Furnish the Performance Bond Within Ten (10) Days After the Award Shall Cause the Check or Bid Bond to Be Forfeited to the City as Liquidated Damages (Section 62.15(3), Wisconsin Statutes).
