Provide Backup Assistance for the Primary Plumbing Services Contractor: Repairs, Maintenance & Emergency Services for various developments of The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Pierce on an Indefinite Quantities basis. There are no guarantees of time or money for this contract. Q/A Cutoff Date: 05/28/2024 Q/A Cutoff Time: 11:00 AM FPHA is actively soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed, insured, and experienced plumbing professionals for the repairing/replacement/rerouting of plumbing systems and equipment in commercial and residential buildings. Typical scope includes but is not limited to: Perform replacement/repairs (water supply, vent stacks, and wastewater piping including laterals, natural gas piping.) Troubleshoot problems (location of slab leaks cracked vent stacks drain main waste line clearing/scoping, etc.). Installation of water heaters (electric/natural gas). Most fixture supply lines and fixture drain clogs are usually addressed by in house staff, the majority of back-ups/clogs that require service are in the main wastewater lines. The company will also supply emergency plumbing services to 827 public housing units and one (1) office building; all are located in Fort Pierce, Florida. Contractor shall provide all labor and materials needed to repair plumbing related issues in all FPHA sites as specified within this solicitation. FPHA intends to contract with up to two (2) secondary contractors to serve as backup companies in an emergency situation or during times in which the primary contractor cannot respond in a timely manner.
