Felt paper must be installed Horizontal not vertical. i. Install 30- year architectural fiberglass shingles, Class-A self-sealing roofing shingles on " A" roof. Include new flashing on all vents, chimneys, and valleys. j. Install 32 ft. of ridge vent ( Shingle over vent) on ridge of roof. Using a chalk line, strike a line on either side ofthe ridge board 7/ 8 of an inch down from the ridge board at the peak of the roof. If you have trusses, you should strike the chalk line such that it will create a gap 1- 3/ 4 inches across the peak when you get to the cutting step. k. Tear out and discard approx.: 300 LF gutter board/ soffitt/ fascia. 1. Install new gutter board/ soffit/ fascia 300 L.F.
