The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the design, fabrication, and installation of a monument sign at the intersection of Lake Avenue and King Hill. This document constitutes a request for sealed bids, including prices, from qualified individuals and organizations to furnish those services and/or items as described herein. All documents included in submission are to be of public record. • Removing existing steel structure on site • Design monument-style, non-illuminated, two-sided sign of roughly 11’ long x 5’ tall (these dimensions include the base and the sign), similar to images provided below • Installation Bid is to include all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the scope of work for the project. Contractor is responsible for securing all necessary city permits; cost of those permits should be included in this bid. Note: All contractors must have an active registration with SAM.gov and provide that number with the bid The work shall begin after an agreement has been approved by the St. Joseph City Council and a Notice to Proceed is issued to the successful bidder. The project completion target date is 60 (Sixty) days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. Completion of the Work. The Contractor shall complete the Work within one hundred twenty (120) days from date this Agreement. An extension to complete the Work may be granted, in the City’s sole discretion, with the written consent of the City’s Director of Planning and Community Development.
