Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marietta, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Furnishing of all services, labor, materials and equipment required for the paving of Barlow Township Road 39 (Bell Rd) according to the specifications herein. Location- The work proposed under this contract is located on Barlow Township T-39, Bell Road. The roads that are preliminarily proposed to be paved are shown herein. However, some roads in part or in total may be deleted or others added depending on bid prices, availability of funds or road conditions may dictate. Also the amount of material required and the overlay thickness on each road or portions of roads may vary depending on the condition of the road at the time of paving. The estimated cost of the project is $211,858 and the project cannot be awarded if the bid price exceeds the estimate by 10%. TIME - No project activity shall begin before August 15, 2024. ; Completion Date: The entire project shall be completed by NOVEMBER 1, 2024. Question Deadline 05/16/2024 at 10:00 AM ET ASPHALT PAVER - Contractor shall coordinate with Barlow Township to allow for proper road closure notification and coordination, the road shall be closed to through traffic and asphalt placed in a single lift, full width of road. Paving machine shall be capable of placing a crown of Winch per foot on all roadways, with crown centered within 6 inches of actual center of existing roadway. The road shall be paved full width. ASPHALT CONCRETE INTERMEDIATE COURSE- The intermediate course shall act as the scratch coat and final surface course, applied in a single lift. Contractor shall attempt to level and fil in void / pothole areas prior to placing final intermediate course. Quantity utilized during scratch leveling shall be reduced from project total, with the final course applied with variable thickness but calculated as shown in the accompanying table. ASPHALT CONCRETE SURFACE COURSE - The existing road centerline and grade shall remain the same. The roads shall be resurfaced with an average thickness as shown in the estimated quantities, with the intermediate asphalt placed as final surface course in a single lift. DRIVEWAYS. MAILBOXES.
