The City of Elgin is seeking Statement of Qualifications from prequalified design firms for the State of Illinois to provide construction engineering services. Project Need - City of Elgin has secured funding for the milling and resurfacing of Lillian Street, South Street, and Walnut Avenue from South McLean Blvd. to Wilcox Avenue(See Attachment A - Location Map). The City of Elgin is seeking Phase III construction engineering services for support during construction. As of June 9, 2025, per owner, this bid is set to open today, June 9, 2025. Further information will be available shortly. Questions regarding this bid package should be addressed to Mike Pubentz, P.E., Public Works Director at pubentz_m@cityofelgin.org no later than by June 21, 2023. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
