Renovation of a detention facility in Key West Nas, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Scope of work shall include removal, disposal, and replacement of existing exterior stucco cladding. Contractor shall prepare substrate properly to be re-plastered with a two-part system with acrylic finish. The colors and texture of the finish coat shall match existing. scope of work. Existing stucco system shall be removed sufficiently to create a substrate acceptable for re-plastering. B. Substrate: inspect all work prior to starting lath and plastering. Notify engineer of any issues impacting performance, proceed as directed. C. Surrounding Areas: Protect surfaces near the work of this section from damage, disfiguration, and overspray. Mask off all dissimilar materials. D. Existing steel plates on exterior wall shall be wire brushed to remove all rust, loose paint, and other contaminants. Two coats of a zinc rich primer shall be applied prior to re-plastering. E. Remove existing chain-link fence parking cage at south wall section as needed to perform the work. Re-install fence cage upon completion of the re-plastering work. Question Deadline 05/31/2024 at 5:00 PM ET
