Work of this Contract comprises the following: .1 Muskeg Falls: (a) General construction, mobilization and demobilization, environmental requirements and tree protection, safeguarding and traffic accommodation, quality testing and survey requirements (b) Wayfinding and Signage, including information kiosk. (c) Supply and install Road improvements in new parking area, including topsoil stripping and stockpiling, subgrade prep, geotextile, grading, crowning and compaction. (d) Supply and install furnishings and improvements to Staging area, including supply and install single vault toilet, retaining structures, rail and post fence and back country log bench. (e) Trail improvements including construction, trail maintenance and upgrades for new and existing trails, including vegetation clearing and compaction, cut and fill, deadfall relocation, trail decommissioning, topsoil and seeding, and supply and install of culverts. (f) Construction of new viewing platform including site preparation, earthworks, rock excavation, rock anchoring, rock doweling, concrete abutments, staircases and footings, and viewing platform with beams, stringers, guardrails, and grating. (g) Construction of new staircase and foundations (provisional item). .2 Twin Falls: (a) General construction, mobilization and demobilization, environmental requirements and tree protection, safeguarding and traffic accommodation, quality testing and survey requirements (b) Wayfinding and Signage, including information kiosk. (c) Supply and install Road improvements in new parking area, including topsoil stripping and stockpiling, subgrade prep, and geotextile. (e) Trail improvements including construction, trail maintenance and upgrades for new and existing trails, including vegetation clearing and compaction, cut and fill, deadfall relocation, trail decommissioning, topsoil and seeding, and supply and install of culverts.
