The City of Attleboro (City) is soliciting quotes, in accordance with M.G.L. c30 39M, from qualified companies for Bituminous Concrete Pavement - Hot Mix laid in place (Hand work for parking lots, sidewalks, etc.) for the Department of Public Works. Owner Rights: The City of Attleboro may cancel this RFQ or reject in whole or in part any and all quotes, if they determine that cancellation or rejection serves the best interest of the City of Attleboro. Wages are subject to minimum wage rates determined by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Industries pursuant to MGL CH. 149, 26 to 27H. The schedule of wage rates applicable to this contract is included in the RFQ documents. The rate per hour to be paid to mechanics, apprentices, teamsters, chauffeurs, and laborers employed on the Work shall not be less than the rate of wages in the attached "Minimum Wage Rates" as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries. The schedule of prevailing wage rates will be updated annually for all public construction projects lasting longer than one (1) year. The Contractor shall pay the prevailing wage rate set out in the applicable prevailing wage rate schedule. Increases in prevailing wage rates shall not be the basis for a change order. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before the quote deadline, to request if necessary, any additional information on Prevailing Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract. Contract term July 1, 2024 thru June 30, 2025 with the option to renew for two additional one year terms.
