Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Swainsboro, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
The project will consist of sound systems, video projection, stage lighting, stage draperies and stage rigging. This specification outlines Presentation Systems Contractor (PSC) requirements to furnish and install presentation systems and all low-voltage wiring required for completely operational systems in the Karrh Center project. All necessary infrastructure shall be required and provided by the PSC for a completely operational audio-visual presentation system, including sound, display, distribution, control, lighting, and rigging. A separate bid for all work required in conjunction with the stated A/V package for a complete and functioning electrical packing will be required. Question Deadline 05/24/2024 Interested bidders should provide project RFI's 10 days before bid date. The systems shall not be considered complete until as-built documentation, final system commissioning, and facility personnel training are completed. This facet of the services to be provided by the PSC is deemed very important to the satisfactory completion of the contract. To that end, a final payment reserve of 10% of the system purchase price shall be held from payment until the documentation package and training described in Part III are delivered.
