CR Number: 2109931 The City has received a grant from the New York State Department of State to facilitate development of the projects. The proposed work consists of constructing Littauer Piazza located at South Main Street and St. Thomas Square located at Elm Street within the city boundaries. The work to be provided per the bidding documents at each project site is summarized as follows. Littauer Piazza - Provide utility services, earthwork, temporary erosion control, storm water management, unit block and concrete paving, site lighting, landscape planting with enhanced soil preparation, tree grates, and site clean-up. St. Thomas Square - Provide utility services, earthwork, temporary erosion control, storm water management, unit block and concrete paving, curbing, site lighting, landscape planting, topsoil placement, masonry signs, building construction, and site clean-up. Contract No. 3 - Mechanical and Plumbing Construction Work. A goal has been established for this project of 30% participation by Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises ("MWBE"), with a specific goal of 15% for Minority-Owned Business Enterprises ("MBE") participation and 15% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises ("WBE") participation. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within 60 days after the date of the Bid opening. The successful Bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond with a surety company satisfactory to the City of Gloversville and conforming to the prerequisite requirements of the General Conditions on the forms included in the Bidding Documents. The City of Gloversville reserves the right to reject any or all Bids.
