Bids Will Be Received for This Project, Which Includes the Following: the Work to Be Performed Under the Contract for Project No. 43-24-10 Consists of the Demolition of the Existing Five-span Steel Beam Bridge at M.p. 227.6, Including Substructure, and Replacement With a Two-span Steel Beam Structure on Semi-integral Abutments and a Single Center Pier Support on Drilled Shafts. All Work is to Be Performed as Per the Plans, Drawings, Specifications, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, and Other Contract Documents for This Project. The Small Business Enterprise (Sbe) Goal Applicable to This Project is 10%. Failure to Certify a Commitment to Meet the Sbe Goal or Failure to Satisfactorily Demonstrate Good Faith Efforts Used to Attain Sbe Participation for This Project Shall Be Grounds for the Commission to Consider the Bid Nonresponsive and May Cause the Bid to Be Rejected.
