Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The scope of work includes 2 1/2 Superpave WMA binder course, 1 1/2 Superpave WMA wearing course; base repair; bituminous spot repairs; acrylic color coating; basketball and tennis court amenities; fencing and gates; restoration and all necessary appurtenances for said construction. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to Alex Gesk (412-826-5454). Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3"; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the PASD. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Punxsutawney Area School District to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. The PASD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
