Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
** As of August 2, 2024 All bids were rejected. No definite date for rebid.** The Punxsutawney Area School District ("District") will receive sealed bids for the Site Work and Equipment bids on the Inclusive Playground at the Elementary School. The Site Work Project consists of the site preparation, removal and relocation of some playground equipment, and installation of sidewalks, retaining walls, new drainage, and new gates for the Punxsutawney Area Elementary School. The Equipment/Rubber Project includes the purchase, delivery, and installation of the playground equipment and poured in place rubber surfacing. The work will be performed under the provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor & Industry, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as set forth in the Contract Documents. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. The District reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes or irregularities in the Bids. Award of contract or rejection of bids will be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders of the contract and technical documents.
