Site work for a road / highway in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Electronic bids for the work including but not limited to Traffic Signal Construction Services for the installation of new signals and upgrades for three (3) fiscal years starting July 1, 2024. This contract is being procured under the provisions of Chapter 30, Section 39M of the Massachusetts General Laws and are subject to the Prevailing Wage Rates. Submit Questions via email by 11:00 am on May 29th, 2024 Stephen Powers, Stephen.powers@boston.gov Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid amount. Attention: Contractors cannot submit a bid without being prequalified for Traffic Signal work through the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. A performance bond, and a payment bond, each of a surety company authorized to do business in Massachusetts and satisfactory to the City, and each in the sum of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder as security to guarantee the faithful performance of the contract. You can prequalify on the Massachusetts Department of Transportation online.
