Excavation and embankment work required for grading in a drainage ditch in the new segment of trail, including HDPE pipe at crossing point of ditch. Removal of existing asphalt trail in E-W portion and replacing with concrete. existing trail base to be utilized and to remain in place where possible. EMBANKMENT IN-PLACE 2,187 CY TOPSOIL, STRIP, SALVAGE AND SPREAD 628 CY MODIFIED SUBBASE 327 CY REMOVAL OF PAVEMENT 1,497 SY RECREATIONAL TRAIL, PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE, 4 IN. 4,019 SY SPECIAL COMPACTION OF SUBGRADE FOR RECREATIONAL TRAIL 36.75 STA. Site Directions: E-W portion of trail follows interstate 80 and is adjacent to the wetland area just west of the Taylor Quik Pik. The N-S portion runs behind Taylor Quik Pik and up east street until it reaches York Rd. Est. Completion Date: Dec. 31, 2024. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
