Renovation of a municipal facility in Flin Flon, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The City of Flin Flon (The City) invites proposals from qualified construction firms to provide comprehensive services for the development and construction of stairs and a flat lookout platform on bedrock, at the Flin Flon Campground (located just off Highway #10, at the entrance of Flin Flon). 'Flinty's Discovery Trail' is one of the first projects undertaken to work towards the larger trail development strategy, which includes a Wetland Lookout. The Wetland Lookout will consist of a secure stairway and a separate lookout deck. The City of Flin Flon is seeking to develop a trail in the southeast corner of the Flin Flon Campground. This trail is on rocky terrain and requires stairs to be built (and anchored into the rocks) to access the lower-level viewpoint. The request also includes the development of a lookout area, which will require a viewing platform to be constructed. The selected firm will be responsible for completing any necessary work required to construct/develop the stairs and viewing platform according to Manitoba's standards and regulations and to adhere to the timeline identified by the City of Flin Flon.
