Site work and new construction of a fitness / recreation center in Abilene, Texas. Working plans call for the construction of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.

“The owner has selected a Construction Manager. The Owner will be contracting a CMAR for the construction of two new Abilene Recreation Centers; G.V. Daniels (541 N 8th St, Abilene, TX 79601) and Cesar Chavez (2250 Ambler Ave, Abilene, TX 79603). The Owner has contracted with Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. ("Parkhill") as its Design Professional for the project. The selected CMAR will work with the City and Parkhill through the Preconstruction and Construction Phases. Further requirements regarding scope, design standards and performance are described in more detail in Attachment E (Project Requirements) Pre bid meeting description: Those who attend the pre-Proposal meeting will be encouraged to ask clarifying questions so as to familiarize themselves with the Project site conditions and constraints Substantial Completion of the entire Work shall be achieved no later than January, 2026 for G.V. Daniels and January, 2027 for Cesar Chavez after the Date of Commencement
