Site work for a recreation facility in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a recreation facility.
Project Scope The Owner will be contracting a CMAR for the construction of the Abilene Zoo Africa Series of Exhibits project in Abilene, Texas. The Owner has contracted with Parkhill (Parkhill) as its Design Professional for the project. The selected CMAR will work with the City and Parkhill through the Pre-Construction and Construction Phases. Further requirements regarding scope, design standards and performance are described in more detail in Attachment E (Project Requirements) Schedule: It is the intent at this time that the Project begin construction by March, 2025 with a construction duration less than 24 months. City Council Award June-July, 2024 All questions or comments should be directed to the Owner Representative as follows: Melissa Gorman: Melissa.gorman@abilenetx.gov Ability of the Proposer to provide payment and performance and maintenance bonds in the amount of 100% of the construction budget and the required insurance. Prior to the Proposal submission deadline stated in this RFP, submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the RFP, addenda and the related supplemental information to the Owner Representative as indicated in the RFP. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Owner in response to such questions will be issued by addenda. Addenda will be sent via email. Other questions will be answered via email. Questions received less than 7 days prior to the date for opening of Proposals may not be answered.
