Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Leavenworth, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
4th Street/US73 (Choctaw to Seneca) Improvements - Work inlcudes, but not limited to full depth reconstruction of concrete intersections, 2-inch mill with a 2-inch asphaltic concrete overlay, curn and sidewalk replacement, storm sewer improvements, traffic signal replacement, pavement markings and other improvements shall be installed as shown on the plans. All questions shall be submitted to Mike Stephan, Project Manager, at 913-684-0392 or by e-mail at mstephan@firstcity.org A certified check, cashier's check or acceptable bid bond must accompany all bids for not less than 5% of the amount of the bid. All bids must be accompanied with a copy of the signed/notarized Non- Collusion Affidavit. If these requirements are not met the bid will not be accepted. The Governing Body of the City of Leavenworth, Kansas reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities. All bidders are required to comply with the applicable policies concerning the implementations of the MBE (Resolution B-664). Project Description a. The intent of the project is to build improvements that provide, in priority order, the following enhancements to the street system. i. Positive drainage flow along curbs and gutters. ii. Positive cross slope drainage, striving for a 2% minimum. iii. Quality of ride. iv. Improved curb exposure.
