Site work for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project shall be known as the Woodside Soccer Fields, Saydel Community School District, Des Moines, Iowa Renovation of the existing grounds southwest of Woodside Middle School. The existing little league fields will be demolished and converted into two U6, four U8, one U10, and one regulation High School sized soccer fields. A concrete pad will be added to the site to accommodate portable restrooms. Grading work will be done to prepare for future parking expansion. Construction to begin approximately July 29, 2024. Substantial Completion Date September 30, 2024 and Final Completion Date October 11, 2024. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid in the form of a Bid Bond on form AIA A310, cashier's check, certified share draft or certified check drawn on an Iowa bank or credit union chartered under the laws of the United States shall accompany each bid in a separate, sealed envelope. Bid Security shall be payable to Saydel Community School District. Upon award of a contract, the successful Contractor will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the awarded Contract amount, and within the time set forth within the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall also furnish a copy of its Certificate(s) of Insurance showing coverage is being provided consistent with that stated within the Project Manual. However, the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract deemed to be in the best interests of the Saydel Community School District.
