Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to the City. Successful bidder shall simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract.
