The Bureau of Housing Inspection, administers the New Jersey Hotel and Multiple Dwelling Law (N.J.S.A. 55:13A-1 et seq.). The Bureau enforces the Hotel and Multiple Dwelling Law through the State Local Cooperative Housing Inspection Program (SLCHIP). Through the SLCHIP program licensed, local inspectors perform cyclical inspections and compliance inspections of hotels, motels and multiple dwellings and earn compensation for the municipality. Consequently, the City of Camden's Code Enforcement Department seeks submissions from qualified entities, organizations and firms to conduct multiple dwelling inspections per N.J.S.A. 55:13A-1. The focus of this project is the inspection of buildings for violations of municipal and state housing codes and statues. Question Deadline: Fri May 24, 2024 9:00 AM The City encourages prospective bidders to submit their bids before the designated date and time of the opening via the City's Bidding System. Bidders must submit complete and detailed information of the product or service which Bidder proposes to supply. The right to reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and to award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in accordance with applicable law is expressly reserved by the authority of the City Council of the City of Camden.
