Renovation of a military facility in Monterey, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, upgrading existing HVAC system controllers. Work includes removing and upgrading specified NAE and NCE controllers in various buildings throughout the Presidio of Monterey (POM). It also includes system testing to verify point mapping, HVAC logic and system functions, and trending capabilities. An original certified check or cashier's check payable to the order of the City of Monterey, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount shall be uploaded with each bid, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bid bond must be notarized, include the embossed surety seal, and include a Power of Attorney if the signee is not an officer of the surety. The original certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond must be received by the City no later than 1 p.m. on the Bid Opening Date. In order to ensure that the original certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond is received by the deadline, the City recommends bidders use express mail or personal delivery Award of contract, if any be made, shall be made to the Contractor with the lowest responsive responsible bid based on the Total Base Bid (Items 1 through 4). The City reserves the right to award, in addition to the base bid, any, all or none of the additive alternate bid schedules. Contractor Selection Date: January 21, 2025 The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids as the best interests of the City may dictate and, to the extent permitted by law, waive any irregularity in any bid. If there is any reason for believing that collusion exists among the bidders, the City may reject any or all bids No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days from the Bid Opening Date, All questions must be submitted in writing through the OpenGov Procurement Question/Answer Tab via the City's e-Procurement portal, on or before the Question & Answer Submission Date and Time Question Submission Deadline:December 11, 2024, 5:00pm Question Response Deadline:December 13, 2024, 5:00pm
