The Owner fully intends to construct the work for which bids are solicited. However, the Owner specifically reserves the right, which all Bidders acknowledge by submission of a bid, to reduce quantities and/or eliminate portions of the project to meet available finances. Reduction of quantities or elimination of portions of the project will not constitute grounds of additional or compensatory charges to the low bidder. Conoy Avenue Storm water Pipe Replacement. Questions Due Date: May 17th 2024, 5:00 PM EDT Estimated Contract Value: $154,000.00 NOTE: The Council of Elizabethtown Borough have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Elizabethtown Borough. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Elizabethtown Borough in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. The Contract Time for this project is sixty (60) calendar days. Elizabethtown Borough reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
