Site work for a water / sewer project in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project generally includes but is not limited to relocation of approximately 7,335 feet of 8-inch DIP water main and associated appurtenances, removal and capping of 4- and 6-inch DIP water main and associated appurtenances, replacement of approximately fifteen (15) fire hydrants and the transfer of approximately two hundred and forty (240) existing water services from the existing 4- and 6-inch water main to the new 8-inch water main. The work includes all materials, equipment, labor, necessary apparatuses, and other miscellaneous labor and materials as contemplated by the Contract Documents. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via online. The Elizabethtown Area Water Authority reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Elizabethtown Area Water Authority, and to reject any or all proposals. The estimated cost for each Contract is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) . Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
