2025 Paving Questions Due Date: Feb 20th 2025, 4:00 PM EST All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents are to be submitted in writing Online Portal. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered i. Bond Forms MS-944 Attachments 2 and 3 and Workmen's Compensation Affidavit Attachment 4 must be submitted by the successful bidder within 20 days of the contract award. Failure to submit the bonds shall constitute grounds to cancel the contract. Upon completion of the work, the contractor must supply to the municipality a completed MS-NCP, Notice of Completion form, along with any other necessary supporting documents. This information should be supplied to the municipality within one month of completing the work. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and reserves the right to waive all informalities in bids received. Unless indicated otherwise, all streets mentioned to receive: (1) Milling 2.5" depth entire width of the street; (2) base repair, as directed; (3) a sweeping and tack coat; (4) a leveling course of Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design 9.5mm, 0.0 to 0.3 million ESALs, SLR "M" as directed by Public Works Director; (5) the center 24 feet covered with Mirafi MPV 600 Paving Fabric or equal; (6) a 2.0 inch wearing course of Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, 12.5mm, PG 64-22, 0.0 to 0.3 million ESALs, SLR "M".
