Tinker Sewer Mains and Lift Station Elimination, Southwest Area, Phase I. Scope - Provide a study and engineering report for the phasing of eliminating sewer lift stations in the Southwest Area of Tinker Air Force Base (TAFB). The Oklahoma Water Utilities Trust (OCWUT) owns and operates the wastewater system on TAFB, excluding the privatized Family Housing area. The wastewater system consists of approximately 25 miles of sewer mains, 470 manholes, and 57 lift stations. Most of the sewer mains on TAFB have diameters less than 15 inches and are vitrified clay pipes. The Southwest Area, as shown in Attachment B. consists of approximately 5.5 miles of sewer main that is conveyed north to a 36- inch sanitary sewer interceptor near SE 29th Street and Sooner Road. There are approximately 38 lift stations in the Southwest area. The fixed Limit ofConstruction Cost is $20,000,000. The Southwest Area, as shown in Attachment B. consists of approximately 5.5 miles of sewer main that is conveyed north to a 36- inch sanitary sewer interceptor near SE 29th Street and Sooner Road. Timeline: An approvable engineering report w ill be required within 200 days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. An amendment may be issued for plans and specifications after OCWUT receives the engineering report. Letters of Interest must provide your understanding of the project and scope of services; your approach and concept; designation of your Project Team and their detailed expertise and experience on similar projects, and accessibility to City staff. The Consultant may not change the Project Team without prior consent of the City Engineer. Letters of Interest must be 50 pages or less. Please provide a contact name and email address in your Letter of Interest. The City and its related Trusts use the Contract located Contract terms are not negotiable. The City may negotiate Scope of Work, Compensation, and Additional Services. If the City or Trust determines, in its sole discretion, the City or Trust is not able to timely negotiate an acceptable Scope of Work, Compensation, and Additional Services with the selected Consultant, then the City or Trust may terminate such negotiations and commence negotiation with another Consultant.
