No definite date for the rebid.** The Work may consist of the following: contractor to provide repairs and painting at the HARD District Officesas described in documents herein, including but not limited to exterior siding and trim patching and painting.It is expected that the north side of the building will be painted by HARD staff. Contractor is asked to provide two prices: Price 1 Trim only - East, West and South Faces, including all railing, louvers, doors, wall mounted ductwork, flashing and vertical concrete (no stucco). Price 2 Trim and Exterior wall surfaces on East, West and South Faces, including all railing, louvers, doors, wall mounted ductwork, flashing and vertical concrete and stucco surfaces. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening for bids except asprovided pursuant to Public Contract Code Sections 5100 et seq. As security for its Bid, each bidder shall provide with its Bid form a bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. This bid security shall be a guarantee that the Bidder shall, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project.
