Renovation of a medical facility in Cobourg, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This Request for Supplier Qualifications ("RFSQ") contains the instructions for the submission of Responses and evaluation criteria to be used to prequalify suitably qualified contractors to submit Tenders for the construction of a fourth, additional Surgical procedures suite on the second floor of the hospital located at 1000 Depalma Dr, Cobourg, ON K9A 5W6, all in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of this RFSQ. The project entails interior renovations to create a new operating suite with capability for positive or negative pressure environments, adjacent to the existing three Operating Suites on the second floor of the building. The existing Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) will also be expanded, with various support services relocated to renovated areas in the unit. Total area of renovations will be approximately 4,150 square feet. A new roof top air handling unit is being procured by the Hospital prior to engagement of the Contractor for installation in this contract.
