Marion County desires to execute a contract with multiple qualified, experienced, and responsive contractors who are to be prequalified through this RFQ process. Marion County Procurement Services and/or the user department will solicit quotes from the aforementioned prequalified contractor(s) for the demolition and debris removal of structures, vegetation, septic systems, or any other infrastructure found on or within properties acquired by Marion County property management. To prequalify, contractors interested in providing demolition and debris removal services must adhere to this RFQ submittal process and shall comply with all terms and conditions as specified herein The County reserves the right to accept or reject any subcontractor based on past performance, location, or any other grounds that may conflict with the best interests of Marion County Board of County Commissioners. Liquidated Damages: Should the contractor fail to complete the work within forty-five (45) calendar days, the County reserves the right to apply liquidated damages in the sum of TwoHundred and Fifty Dollars and Zero Cents ($250.00) for each consecutive calendar day the work remains incomplete. Quantities specified in this Bid are estimates only and are not to be construed as guaranteed minimums.
