Scope of work is as follows: PHASE 1: Through August of 2024 - The City of Cortez was awarded SS4A and RAISE planning grants from the Federal Highway Administration to implement a vision zero safety plan for the transportation network and create a plan for large-scale improvements to achieve improved safety goals. These improvements should be included on the upcoming call for projects to be incorporated into CDOT's long-range planning cycle on August 8, 2024. For projects to be incorporated into this list, they must have an identified scope and cost estimate. The focus of Phase 1 of this project is to provide that scope and cost estimation as described in the RFP. PHASE 2: Through December of 2025 - The second phase of this project will be to continue with scoping and cost estimates for the remainder of work identified by the Safety Action and Implementation plan, and including transportation master planning. Additional traffic analytics, as well as a public outreach and engagement strategy will be key to incorporate as project deliverables, along with budgeting suggestions and grant strategies for any applicable grant for future funding.
