As of November 6, 2025, the project has been cancelled. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: SCOPE OF WORK The Librarys garage and basement levels have cracking, and thus are in need of epoxy concrete repair and the removal of efflorescence. The recent rainstorms made it apparent that repairs should not be delayed since seepage and water intrusion were experienced on both parking levels. Exterior cracking and water intrusion have also been observed at the Police Department and City Hall buildings. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the City of Alhambra for an amount no less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. These bonds shall cover the faithful performance (100%) of the Contract for Construction and the payment of all obligations (100%) arising thereunder. Contract Award: Monday, June 24, 2024 All bidders shall possess a State Contractors License, Class B at the time of bid submittal. During rainstorm events, seepage, water intrusion and flooding in the basements have been a frequent occurrence. Staff is seeking qualified contractors to complete this type of work.
