Request for Proposal in procuring a consulting team to assist with the inspection and asset management related to bridge infrastructure in Vancouver for three (3) years with possibility of four (4) one (1) year extensions is underway. The City requires the services of bridge engineers to complete various levels of visual inspections of their bridge inventory over the course of the contract and to complete selected load ratings, seismic assessments, concrete deck assessments, coating assessments, horizontal lifeline assessments, and preparation and updates to needs assessment reports, bridge dashboards, and other reports documenting the current state of the bridge asset inventory and current and future maintenance and rehabilitation requirements. The term of any Agreement is expected to be a three (3)-year period, with four (4) possible one (1)-year extensions, for a maximum total term of seven (7) years.
