Site work for a water / sewer project in Fenton, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The major components of the Base Bid include, but not limited to: 1. Rehabilitate approximately 235 LF of 6-inch gravity sewer by Cured-In-Place -Pipe (CIPP) including all sewer bypassing operations necessary and restoration of sewer laterals. 2. Rehabilitate approximately 6,052 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer by Cured-In-Place -Pipe (CIPP) including all sewer bypassing operations necessary and restoration of sewer laterals. 3. Sealing by chemical grout of 213 service lateral connections. 4. Pre-construction clean up to approximately 6,287 LF of 6- & 8-inch gravity sewer. 5. Pre- and post-construction CCTV of project gravity sewers, up to approximately 6,287 LF. 6. Rehabilitation of 13 existing manholes with a varying combination of cementious mortar interior lining and urethane sealing system for manhole chimney. 7. All mobilization and demobilization, maintenance of traffic, soil erosion and sediment control, and other work implied necessary to complete an operable sewer system rehabilitation. Effective January 1, 2009, and pursuant to RSMo 285.530 (1), No business entity or employer shall knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work within the state of Missouri. The successful bidder must submit a sworn affidavit and documentation affirming the business entity's enrollment and participation in the federal work authorization program and that all of its employees working for the contracted services are not illegal immigrants. The Project is subject to the requirements of Section 292.675 RSMo, which requires all contractor or subcontractors doing work on the Project to provide, and require its on-site employees to complete, a ten (10) hour course in construction safety and health approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) or a similar program approved by the Missouri department of Labor and Industrial. Relations that is at least as stringent as an approve OSHA program. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bidder's Maximum Bid Price must accompany each Bid, as stated in the Instructions to Bidders. All work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u. Successful bidder agrees to comply with HUD'S regulations in 24 CFR Part 135. The project is a federally-funded prevailing wage project which triggers Federal Labor Standards Compliance. The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in this specification. When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, its contract is subject to the "Work Hours Act of 1962," (P.L. 87-581: 76 Stat. 357) and implementing regulations The Northeast Public Sewer District reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest and best, responsive and responsible bidder, to reject any and all bids, and to waive all informalities in the bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the specified time for receipt of bids.
