**As of August 19, 2024, project was awarded to Snow Country Contracting, awarded amount is $595,882.25.** The Ontonagon County Road Commission is seeking bids for the construction of "Old M-28 Bridge Over Weir Creek" that includes the following major items of work: o Reconstruction of 0.05 miles of Old M-28 and bridge replacement over Weir Creek. No bid shall be accepted unless accompanied by a bid security payable to Ontonagon County Road Commission in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. The Ontonagon County Road Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids at its discretion. Question Deadline 06/11/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
